"I read ft most mornings and overall..."
I read ft most mornings and overall it’s just a solid site. The ads do pop up more than I’d like, which can get a little annoying, but they don’t totally ruin the experience. Still worth using.

"Market data feels a bit like a treasure hunt"
I use FT mainly for market data, but finding what I need can feel weirdly difficult sometimes. Certain info seems buried, and a few bits feel like they arrive fashionably late to the party. For what it costs, I was expecting a much smoother experience, not a mini saga every time I’m trying to check the markets.

"I tried going through the privacy settings..."
I tried going through the privacy settings, but there are way too many data controls and it still feels confusing. Some of the prompts feel pushy, a lot of it seems unnecessary

"Chart tools make me a bit uneasy"
I’m giving this 2 stars because the charts on ft.com just haven’t been a great experience for me. They can be slow to load, awkward to adjust, and the whole layout feels dated. For a paid finance site, I’d expect the tools to feel more reliable, especially when I’m checking information that could affect investment decisions. If the charts lag or are hard to read, it makes me less confident using them.

"I’ve been liking the way Financial Times shows..."
I’ve been liking the way Financial Times shows the print edition. It’s clean, easy to read... not all cluttered like some news sites can be. The pages load fine for me, and it still kind of feels like reading an actual paper, which I wasn’t sure would come through online. So yeah, overall happy with it...

"Is it just me, or are the videos frustrating?"
I do enjoy some of the Financial Times articles, but the video experience has been annoying for me. They load slowly, freeze here and there, and the player just feels kind of clunky. For a paid site, I feel like it should be smoother, right? It’s not completely unusable, but it definitely gets frustrating.
"Paywall access actually does its damn job"
I picked up the Financial Times paywall access mostly for business news, it’s been worth it. The articles load properly, I’m not dealing with stupid error messages, and I can read on my phone without getting randomly booted out like some broken app nonsense.
The price isn’t exactly dirt cheap, but the content is solid and I end up using it most days. For once, it feels like I’m paying for something that isn’t a total rip-off. Easy 5 stars from me.

"Decent portfolio tracker, but a little clunky"
I mainly use ft.com to keep an eye on my portfolio, and it mostly does what I need. The prices are usually there and the basics work fine, which is really the main thing. That said, adding or changing holdings can feel a bit awkward, like I have to think about it more than I should. Some pages also take longer to load than I’d expect, and then I end up clicking around and wondering why I didn’t just check something else while I waited. Overall it’s not bad, just a bit less smooth than I hoped for from a paid site.

"Comments section isn’t what it used to be"
I mainly read the Financial Times for the reporting, and that part is still solid, but the comments section has started to feel a lot more hit or miss lately.
There are definitely some thoughtful people in there, but a lot of the replies come across as smug, or like someone has already decided what kind of person you are just from the tone of your comment. Then it turns into the same political back-and-forth instead of an actual discussion.
For what the subscription costs, I guess I expected the community side to be better moderated and a bit more useful. The journalism is still worth reading, but the reader discussion is a letdown now...

"Still one of my morning go-tos"
I end up on Financial Times most mornings, usually with coffee, kind of half-reading at first and then getting pulled in. The journalism just feels solid, you know? Like the articles seem properly checked and not written just to get a reaction. They explain business and politics in a calm way, without turning everything into some huge drama. Some pieces are a bit dense, which can slow me down a bit, but honestly... that’s also part of why I trust it.

I’m into the daily podcasts and usually enjoy listening, but ngl the ads can get annoying sometimes. The app’s decent overall, just wish it ran a little smoother.

"I’ll give FT credit, the articles are usually solid…"
I’ll give ft credit—the articles are usually solid when I can actually get to them. But i’ve always had this feeling that the app and website were kind of clunky, and every time a page hangs or it makes me log in again for no reason, it just confirms it for me. Navigation feels more awkward than it should, especially for something I’m paying for. Maybe I notice the issues more because I already expect them, but still, it really shouldn’t be this frustrating.

"I had a login issue and didn’t want…"
I had a login issue and didn’t want to spend forever dealing with it, so I reached out to support. They got back to me quickly and helped fix it. It wasn’t a perfect experience, but I can’t really complain too much because they were helpful enough and got the problem sorted.

I don’t have the patience to overthink stuff like this. It worked for what I needed, the price was fair, and I feel like I got good value out of it

"The newsletters actually feel like they know what I’m into"
I’ve been happy with the newsletter picks so far. They’re actually useful and mostly line up with the stuff I’d read anyway, which is weirdly rare. Usually these things throw in a bunch of random articles I’d never click, like how my grocery app keeps suggesting cat food even though I don’t have a cat. But here, it feels more curated and not overwhelming.

"Some of the alerts are actually..."
Some of the alerts are actually helpful, but a lot of them feel random or not really relevant to me. I also got transferred around when I tried to ask about it, which was frustrating because I just wanted a straight answer. Overall, it works sometimes, but it could definitely be more consistent.

"Cancelled twice and still got charged"
I cancelled it. Twice, actually. Thought that was the end of it. Then I checked my statement and there it was, another charge. Tried reaching out to support, but no help at all. Just a really frustrating experience.

"Seems fair, even when I’m a bit skeptical"
I’ve had a few comments get questioned, and I always worry a little that I’m being misled or treated unfairly. But the mods have actually explained things clearly, and overall they seem reasonable. I don’t really have any major complaints.

"Great for audio articles, with a few small app hiccups"
I mostly use ft for the audio articles during my commute, which has become a nice little morning habit. The narration is clear, and it’s just easier than staring at my phone before I’ve fully woken up. Most articles load without any trouble, and the voices are pleasant enough that I can just let them run while I’m on the train, half thinking about the news and half wondering if I remembered to send that email.
The only real annoyance is that the player can get a bit picky if I pause something and come back to it later. It’s not a huge deal, just one of those small app things that makes you sigh for a second. Overall though, I still think it’s a good experience and definitely worth using if you like listening instead of reading.
"Reliable Delivery Overall"
Delivery has been really reliable for the most part. My sister and I have ordered a few times, and it only showed up late once or twice, so overall we’ve been happy with it
